Sensory Direct Excel At The Autism Show

WORCESTER, JUNE 2022

After 2 years of no exhibitions due to Covid, Sensory Direct were delighted when the doors opened once again for The Autism Show in June. Exhibiting at both the London, Excel event and the Birmingham, NEC event, it was an opportunity for Sensory Direct to network with new and existing customers, discuss new resources with Occupational Therapists and leading professionals in the SEN sector and allow people to physically interact with their products.

Together with their range of handmade, washable weighted blankets, lap pads and shoulder wraps, Sensory Direct showcased their trademark Chewbuddy™ range of sensory chews, as well as wobble cushions, fidget toys, stretch bands and communication fans. Sensory Direct also took the opportunity to unveil a brand-new product at the show – Weighted Cushions, available in a range of fabrics and weights. The product was extremely well received, and customers were keen to subscribe and be the first to hear when it was launching!

Across the 4 days Sensory Direct interacted with a diverse range of people and using their expert guidance and support, were able to help people choose new resources to help with a variety of conditions.  The whole team thoroughly enjoyed the event, and it was fantastic to meet customers face to face again. The Sensory Direct Team look forward to the next event in September – The Childcare & Education Expo Exhibition in Coventry.
