UV & Glow in the Dark Sensory Range

Ultraviolet (UV) light is sometimes known as black light. UV light is just beyond the blue end of the colour spectrum, so it appears invisible to the eye. A UV torch or light produces ultraviolet light and, when combined with UV-responsive materials or toys, it creates dramatic bright colours that appear to glow.

Safety Information

UV light is not harmful when used in moderation. As a general guide, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology suggests limiting exposure to around 30 minutes or less.

Protection is straightforward: lightweight clothing helps shield the skin, and eye protection is recommended at all times during UV sessions. Following these simple precautions allows you to enjoy the sensory benefits of UV lighting safely. However, we always advise seeking professional guidance if you have any concerns about health and safety.
