We often get asked by parents about resolving issues with sleep for autistic children, so if you've got any great ideas for getting Autistic children to sleep then please share them.

Our autistic son is now 12 and thankfully he's much better now than he used to be - the first five years were a nightmare!   We found a good consistent routine essential with a story in bed and then we would leave a Thomas The Tank Engine story playing quietly (the same one every single night!).   We also had some success with melatonin which we used when we needed it (when he was really hyper), and of course his weighted blanket which he still uses to this day.

Share your tips and experiences with us....we'd love to hear them and I'm sure may other parents would too.
