For those who that are hyperactive, relaxation can be found in the form of regular exercise. Working and moving the body decreases muscle tension, reduces the body's stress hormones and stimulates the production of good hormones that in turn lower's the body's contribution to feeling anxious which can be the cause of over activeness.
Resistance products, such as resistance bands or body socks can work the muscles and stimulate the good hormones but also offers a sensory feedback to the body during movement. This is great for letting off a bit of steam or strengthening the core muscles.
