Weighted blankets are a safe and effective way of helping sensory seeking children and adults unwind their bodies for sleep.
Our blankets are the only weighted blankets with a CE marking and are registered as a medical device with the MHRA (Medical & Healthcare Regulatory Agency)
The weight in the blankets applies deep pressure to the touch receptors in the muscles, joints and ligaments helping the individual feel more in tune with their body and limbs imparting a soothing and calming effect.
Our large weighted blanket is single duvet size - measuring 200cm x 135cm. The blanket has 20 pockets with removable weights allowing the weight and distribution of the weight to be tailored to the individual´s needs.
The blanket fits easily into a standard duvet cover for easy cleaning and has the option of a fleece backing for comfort and warmth.
Available in Navy Blue - put in your choice of duvet cover. Great for those who like familiarity.
